HOORAY! 50% off at ELF Cosmetics (eyeslipsface.co.uk) is back! THE WEEKEND IS HERE.
This is genuinely one of my faaaavourite discounts of all time, and I’ve just shopped another stash – all for under £15 with the 50% off!!
One of my fabulous Face Value Facebook Page friends asked me which Elf products I recommended and so I thought I’d share them with you all and write a quick blog post!

|A quick snap of my latest haul…. for under £15|
So what are my ELF Essentials?
In addition to the Elf Studo Matte Lip Colour which I reviewed here, I have soooo many favourites, its hard to narrow them down. The quality of Elf Cosmetics is insanely good for the price. Dont judge the plastic packaging, it’s what’s inside that matters!
I’ll be honest, when I first bought from Elf Cosmetics, I was worried that they were just going to all be cheap, nasties from some unknown country so I stuck to face powders and avoided lip stuff but…. have no fear Face Value friends!
I have selflessly taken it upon myself to try, pretty much, the full range of their products and have had no skin irritations or complaints – just a fabulous face!
My Elf Essentials? Here’s the low down on my favourite products.
This reminds me very much of the Clinique Chubby Stick except wait, it’s £2.50!
I have this in Coco Loco (natural brown/red) and Tiki Torches (coral pink).
The coverage is sheer at first, but you can layer it up.
It’s perfect for girls who don’t like the full impact of lipstick, but want some colour on their lips.
The flavour of both of mine have been minty – my favourite.
Elf Mineral Booster
What is a Mineral Booster? That was my question, so I bought it and found out! A sort of curiousity killed the credit card thing.
Ideal for buffing into your skin over your foundation, or even alone for “my skin is naturally perfect” sort of look.
I have it in Tinted but it also comes in Sheer and Corrective Yellow for those who suffer redness. See my bareminerals post on how to buff!
I have lotsssss of their brushes – the bamboo blending brush, the smudge brush, the angled contour……… but this Studio Stipple is my most-used of the lot.
Stipple brushes have two layers of brush length and are great for cream or liquid makeup.
I use this to apply my Benefit Posie Tint, High Beam and my Revlon PhotoReady Cream Blush – I also bought the large Stipple brush but I find this smaller one has more control.
This lip balm is gorgeous – it’s kind of oily, but in a good way – like Blistex Lip Splash.
I don’t know how to describe it, but its really turned my crispy lips around – something which Nivea SOS couldn’t do!
They smell lovely too, none of this medicated scent, just fruits. Although coloured, I dont think they add any colour – mines in Blackberry Creme.
Elf Studio Pigment Eyeshadow in Magical Maroon
This photo doesnt do it justice but its an awesome plummy brown/purple which is fab for this autumn/winter gothic berry vibe. I wore it for Halloween. (post coming soon!)
The quality of these shadows is absolutely lovely, they’re super blendable and a little goes a long way!
They remind me of the Barry M Dazzle Dust pots, but at £3.75 before discount, they’re cheaper and equally good. Plus they even come with a dinky brush, how adorable!
Other good things which deserve a mention: High Definition Powder, Colour Correcting Concealer Palette, Lip Exfoliator
Things I haven’t tried, but I want to: HD Mattifying Cream Foundation, Lip Balm Tints, Contouring Blush and Bronzing Cream.
So there you go – my Elf Favourites – now, the good part. You can get 50% on Elf Cosmetics at www.eyeslipsface.co.uk until 4 November.
DISCOUNT DETAILS: Just use code 5020000 on a minimum basket of £20 before the code is applied and boom, 50% off!
