What I Wore: Choosing My LFW Outfit

In case you didn’t already know, I am a HUGE panicker. Tube delayed? Low phone battery? Missing key? TIME TO PANIC. So when I found out that I’d won the Yahoo Lifestyle Bloggers Competition to go to London Fashion Week, the second thought after “OMG I WON!” was “OMG, what do I WEAR?”

Thankfully, I had some help from my wonderful workmates and F&F Clothing kindly agreed to sort me out a Fashion Week Wardrobe! BOOM.

Once I’d gathered the goodies, the run up to Fashion Week Friday was spent trying on EVERY SINGLE OUTFIT COMBINATION EVER and trying to decide whilst Mr FV unhelpfully said “yeah, that’s nice” to everything I tried on. (Don’t you hate when guys say that?)

So here we go – the big try-on session. What’s your favourite piece?

Minimalist colour blocking.

A bit more glamour.

White Shell Top

Orange Textured Duster Coat

Tailored Jumpsuit

All F&F Clothing.

M&S Snake Print Heels

F&F Printed Shift Dress (not yet online)

F&F Cube Print Dress

All black!  Black Duster Coat & Black Zip Detail Scuba Dress

What Did I End Up Wearing?

The first outfit was my favourite co-ord set which I just never had a chance to wear! You know when you buy something which is AWESOME but you never have a place to wear it? An outfit like this is totally wasted on a trip to the supermarket!

I matched it with a lovely F&F printed swing camisole and my favourite Nike Blazers.

Equally, you could dress up this baby blue set up with a pair of heels. a silky cami inside and a fierce necklace.

Saturday Blues.

On Saturday, I chose the Cube Print Shirt Dress, matched with my favourite Michael Kors bag to match the blue accents in the dress.

The shoes are by Melissa, and I ended up changing to my bad-boy wedges later in the day which gave it a tougher, more structural feel.

You can wear this dress with a blazer for work, or wear it with a top-knot for weekend cool.

Joggings For Fashion Week?!

Finally, on my last day, I went for a relaxed Sports-Luxe vibe (which was ALLLLL over the SS15 catwalks, I am sooo totes on trend!) and paired these F&F Tailored Joggings, with this Notch Neck Sleeveless Top so it looked a bit like a slouchy jumpsuit.

Worn with nude cut out heels, it easily became a night outfit! Who knew joggers could be so elegant?!

The day before I’d got given these Colin Leslie bamboo sunglasses on the FROW, so I thought I’d wear them too!

And in the evening, for the Shopcade LFW partyI chose to wear the black tailored jumpsuit & orange duster coat option.

I accessorised with this amazing Oasis floral necklace aka seriiiious neck candy.

Big thanks again to F&F Clothing for fixing my Fashion Week Wardrobe!
