Hi team! It’s been a super-quiet week on the blog but it’ll be worth it because today….. I’M BACK ON YOUTUBE!
Yes indeed, I’ve been busy video editing this week instead of blogging and, as a result, a new video is up on my YouTube channel (and it’s very different to my normal gabble!) …. it’s a fashion video for the lovely occasionwear site LittleBlackDress.co.uk!
This week, I was invited along to the London launch party for their new collection of own label little black dresses (who can say no to gorgeous dresses, canapes and champagne? Not me.) and I’m sharing a little behind-the-scenes peek at what went down!
Held at the Hotel Cafe Royal on Regent Street, the LittleBlackDress.co.uk launch party was a seriously swish affair – I’m talking stunning, gilded walls and mirrors EVERYWHERE, it was reminiscent of a aristocratic afternoon tea with Marie Antoinette (and a hella lot of nice clothes.)
Enough chat – let’s get to the good bit. Here’s the fashion video I pulled together for LittleBlackDress.co.uk – check it out and let me know what you think!! It’s my first proper video-editing gig so I’m still really new to it, hope you like it!!
Ever since Vogue endorsed Coco Chanel’s simple black shift back in 1926, women worldwide have fallen in love with the little black dress. Versatile, flattering and timeless – to this day, the LBD remains a girl’s best friend.
It’s this sentiment that inspired this collection of luxury LBDs that combines iconic heritage with contemporary design, sumptuous fabrics and unexpected detailing.
The collection is split into five moods – Glamorous, Sexy, Unique, Feminine, Classic – and they’re named after both legendary and modern fashionistas from Coco Chanel to Blake Lively.
Here are my top 6 from the collection (which was very difficult to narrow down!) – which little black dress do you like the best?
You can shop the new collection of little black dresses here: http://www.littleblackdress.co.uk/brands/little-black-dress-collection – I love how they have a video for each dress so you can see exactly how it moves on the body!
Which is your favourite?! (ps, I bought the Chloe – it doesn’t immediately jump out on the page, but when worn, it’s gorgeously floaty!)
