Quick Xmas Beauty Cheats To Get Polished, PRONTO.

I hope you’ve all got lovely plans today – whether it’s a big boozy knees up, or a cosy day in with the family. Either way, time is never on our side and that’s why today’s post is about QUICK Xmas beauty cheats which I’ll be using today.

I never get time to really ‘get ready’ on Christmas Day. It’s not like I need hours (ideally, yes) but by the time we’ve got up, had a Bucks Fizz in our PJs and opened our family presents in the morning – there’s about half an hour to get ready before the drive up to see the extended family. PANIC ensues.

So without further ado, here are the quick fixes I will be using today!

Beverly Hills Formula ‘Perfect White’ Toothpaste.

Mulled wine is one of the TRUE joys of Christmas but red wine is a big beauty booboo as it can stain teeth and leave them looking a bit tired.

This awesome Beverley Hills Perfect White Toothpaste is BLACK! It uses activated charcoal to absorb tannins (the stainers in Coffee and Red Wine) for an instant brightness boost.

I was worried it would be like brushing my teeth with swamp mud but surprisingly, the foam itself turns white as you brush. I don’t know if this would replace my normal toothpaste but it’s definitely perfect for party season!

Burberry Fresh Glow Luminous Fluid Base.

I recently treated myself to this lovely liquid primer and it.is.LUSH. As an oily-skinned girl, I was worried this Burberry Fresh Glow base would be shiny but it adds a radiance, rather than a shimmer, so you look glowy rather than greasy.

I actually use this in place of moisturiser in the morning and I’ve been really impressed with the results. My skin looks radiant and healthy (even when I’m hungover and feeling the effect of too many margheritas)

For £34, it’s not cheap – but I love it and it will last ages! A perfect Christmas treat. (full review coming up after Xmas!)

Anatomicals Puffy The Eye Bag Slayer Eye Patches.

Another out-out offender which rears it’s head around Christmas is puffy eyes and under-eye bags the next morning! Forget all this cold-spoon rubbish or cucumber slices and get these Anatomicals Under-Eye Patches on your face!

Packed with collagen and vitamins, they leave a soothing, refreshing sensation on the skin – a lovely little pick me up which you can leave on for ages. I cannot wait to try them on some serious bags! POW.

Percy & Reed Eau My Goodness Shine & Fragrance Spray.

Sometimes there’s just NO time for a full hair-wash and blow dry. I know you know what I mean!

Batiste is all very well and good but it often leaves a dull, matte finish on hair. Bring dull hair back to life with this Percy&Reed Shine & Fragrance Spray which not only adds a dose of shine, it also smells great and leaves a cloud of perfume following you around!

It’s so easy to use, just spritz it across your hair, focusing on the lengths and ends. I’ve used shine sprays before, but none which smell as good as this! The huge bottle is £22 but the travel size has lasted me ages.

Elegant Touch Polished Nail (Grey Daze)

If you’ve not shelled out for Shellac, you will have suffered the dreaded CHIP. I don’t know about you, but I’ve really not had enough time (read: been arsed) to repair my nails. At the moment, my nails are looking like a seriously vintage cupboard – y’know, striped with age and paint flaked off on all sides.

I used to hate false nails– they’re always an awkward length and you can’t do anything with them on. And don’t get me staaarted about when they ping off at unexpected times (into unsuspecting faces – soz)

Anyway, these Elegant Touch nails are short AND matte! Best invention ever! With a ‘silk matte’ finish, they look modern and expensive – not cheap or tacky like some false nails can seem. And the colour! Grey daze is a lovely matte olive grey – it goes with everything, wear it now!

So there we go – nails, hair, eyebags, skin and teeth – SORTED! And in under half an hour.

Have a Beautiful Christmas everyone!
